Rep. Paul Ryan (Wis.) said today that if Secretary of State Hillary Clinton were president, the nation's fiscal crisis would have been averted. “Look, if we had a Hillary Clinton presidency, if we had Erskine Bowles as chief of staff of the White House or president of the United States, I think we would have fixed this fiscal mess by now," Ryan said to NBC's David Gregory on "Meet the Republicans. These guys are hilarious! A couple days ago they're blaming her for Benghazi, now they think she's a magician.
He went on to say, “We have to expand our appeal to more people and show how we'll take the country's founding principles and apply them to the problem of the day, solutions to fix our problems. We have to show our ideas are better at fighting poverty, better at solving health care, how our ideas are better at solving problems that people experience in their daily lives. And that's a challenge we have to rise to, and I think we're up for it."
Who is he kidding? The American people saw what he and the Republicans had to offer in November and soundly rejected it, except for those who actually believe Fox is real news. They want to appeal to more people? Really? By jamming a transvaginal ultrasound probe up a woman’s privates when she seeks a legal procedure. By trying to prevent minorities from voting? By passing laws where discriminating against gay people is ok. Republicans want to fight poverty? How, by putting more people in poverty so they can lower the threshold of what's called poverty? By crushing unions with right-to-work for less, thereby lower everyone’s standard of living. They want to solve healthcare? By repealing the Affordable Care Act, voucherizing Medicare, privatizing Social Security and raising the retirement age so you’ll be dead before you get to use any of those programs. He claims they’re better at problem solving. Considering he and 16 other Republicans met on the night of President Obama’s first inauguration night, to plan on how they would destroy his presidency, his words run shallow.
Here's the deal, if Hillary runs in 2016, I'm with her. However, if the Teathugs still have power in the House or Senate, we're still screwed. The right wing wants to destroy the New Deal, the Great Society and the ACA, widely known as Obamacare. They will not be satisfied until we have given every last dime that we’ve worked for to the billionaires who are pulling the strings in Washington. I do not see Hillary adopting Paul Ayn Rand Ryan's plan which will ensure America’s seniors are in poverty, die young, eat cat food and end up homeless.

Had Enough Yet?
Just wondering if Democrats or people left of center in general are finally getting it, that the right wing plays for keeps. They will stop at nothing to get total power. They lie, they cheat, they steal. There is no equivalency in what their side does and what our side does. They are organized in deceiving people to an alternate reality. They own the airwaves. It's why we can't stay in power, they fight dirty while our side tries to take the high road (ex. Dukakis, Gore, Kerry, Obama). There is no equivalency that Fox and MSNBC are opposite sides of the same coin. Fox IS the Republican Party and they created the tea party with the Koch roaches. Their one "liberal" Alan Colmes is nothing more than a punching bag for their right wing thugs, which include the Stepfaux Blondes. On the other hand, MSNBC allows Scarborough three hours every day to bash the administration. It gives Mrs. Greenspan (Andrea Mitchell) an hour to question the administrations decisions. And it employs racist, bigot Pat Buchanan is a contributor. These right wing lunatics only believe in the first amendment when it's them doing the talking. They love the Constitution so much they want to change it. If they're waving a flag and carrying a Bible, be afraid, be very afraid.

Wallace and Palin Sittin in a tree...
Sunday is always a great day for a game of softball! Thanks for pitching Chris. This morning on Faux Newz, Chris Wallace couldn't stop gushing about Palin's "Boffo" interview. Honestly, why doesn't he just ask Palin to (insert thought here) him get it over with? You know he wants to. There is no depth to this woman yet they keep building her up to be something she's not. And you also know that his father, Mike Wallace is rolling over in his grave watching what his son has become. Watch Chrissy allow the abominable snowbitch to double down on her stupidity.
In the midst of her supposedly non-campaign bus tour of America (where she trampled on Mitt Romney's presidential bid announcement in New Hampshire, driving through the western Massachusetts tornado to get there in time), Faux Newz Sunday host Chris Wallace let Sarah Palin continue to babble through the network, with an "exclusive" half-hour long interview. Not sure why Faux declares it as exclusive since she won't talk to any other network. However, Wallace wasn't content to promote Palin simply by handing her Sunday program, he began an all-day Palin-cheerleading session by declaring in the second half of his show that her performance was "boffo." He went on to add that she was "sharp on the issues" and that she has "a serious possibility to be president." If indeed he's correct and she has a serious chance of becoming president, be afraid, be very afraid.
After his show, Wallace appeared on Faux Newz and said that in that interview, "I think you see Sarah Palin the way people never quite have before. She talks in great depth and I think with a good deal of expertise about the economy, about the debt, about Paul Ryan's Medicare plan, about our involvement in Afghanistan." What the hell is he smoking? This woman couldn't make change at McDonald's with the cash register showing her the exact change due to the customer. The debt? Ask Alaskans about her expertise. Oh, and how she managed to slide materials for her new house into the budget of the new arena that was built. A taxpayer funded house! Ayn Rand Ryan's Medicare Plan? Ask those of us under 55 who were basically told, "go to hell." Not only have we paid into it our whole lives, if this draconian bill passes, we'll still get to pay into it without any benefit! Isn't Republicanism ****ing awesome?! Apparently Republicans are banking on the fact that many voters are over 55, and are hoping they don't care about their younger family members so they can pull this off. Oops. Afghanistan? Yes, I want words of wisdom on military intervention form a woman who thought North Korea was an ally.
Later Wallace again appeared on Faux Newz America's Newz HQ and told host Shannon Bream: "I have never seen her as impressive and specific on the issues as she was, whether it was the debt or the state of the economy or what the situation is on the ground in Afghanistan" Of course, Wallace's praise for his Faux Newz colleague, while creepy, isn't surprising. Faux is, after all, the friendliest place in the universe for her. But his assessment of her as a serious contender for president in 2012 only strengthens the case that Faux is an unethical network by continuing to employ her as a contributor. Not that ethics mean a whole heck of a lot to the television media wing of the Teapublican propaganda machine.
Still, let's be fair, Palin's interview was even more impressive than the time that Paul Revere rang the bells of Westminster Abbey to warn the British that the Minutemen were coming.

The Police State of America
So now the Thomas Jefferson Memorial is a "protected area" per the Patriot Act?
A disgusting overreach by federal goons at the Jefferson Memorial results in several arrests of innocent tourists, including a couple who were kissing! Adam Kokesh was also arrested for dancing, but not before a choke-hold and a throw-down.
While a soldier risks his/her life to protect freedom, here is how our law enforcement chips it away. It embarrasses me to think people in other countries will view this. I expect Faux Newz and Limpballs to be crediting the police for these gross violations of "freedom" since the right wing doesn't know how to relax and enjoy a moment.

This Is What Compassionate Christians Concoct on Easter Sunday
Happy Easter to all the sane people out here! Is this something that we now consider acceptable? Is this not pushing the limits of free speech? How can this not be equated with yelling fire in a crowded theater? Here's an example of right wing "intelligence" ... or something ... on this fine Easter day. A friend on Facebook passed it along and encouraged everyone to report it, which I did since I agree. If anyone on the left posted something like this about Bush or Palin, they'd already be in shackles. I am posting this, not to give them publicity, but to prove what was on Facebook because this will be coming down and Fox News and Rush Limbaugh will deny it ever existed. I'd hate to be the asshat who posted this because from what some sources are reporting, the secret service is working on getting it taken down and it is being investigated.

Michigan Governor Will Impose Financial Marshall Law
I've been dedicating a fair amout of time in my support of the Wisconsin Democrats and the protestors fighting for the middle-class as Governor Walker makes good on his behind the door promises to David Koch, but what's going on in Michigan is actually worse.
Michigan Republicans led by their new Governor Rick Snyder, another Koch-sucker, are on the verge of approving a bill that would enable the governor to appoint emergency managers. Under the new law, the governor could declare "financial emergency" in towns/cities or school districts. He would then appoint a manager to fire local elected officials, break contracts, seize and sell assets, eliminate services - and even eliminate those cities or school districts without any public input. An amendment to require emergency managers to hold monthly public meetings to let people know how they are governing was rejected by Senate Republicans, along with proposals to cap emergency manager compensation and require that those appointed to run school districts have some background in education. The measure passed in the state Senate this week and the House passed its own version earlier. The two versions of the bill are expected to be reconciled soon, and Republican Gov. Rick Snyder has said he will sign the bill into law. Good-bye democracy. This law will give this Republican administration in Michigan the right to overturn the will of the people by tossing their elected officials out and moving their people in. These guys aren't even hiding the fact that they're trying to destroy the Democratic Party and lead us into a facist dictatorship.

often capitalized : a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition
I think what bothers me the most is that right wing media has turned right vs left into a football game. There is no such thing as a liberal media when our entire media is owned by 5 large multi-national corporations. And please spare me the nonsense that MSNBC is Faux News polar opposite. The liberal hosts collectively get the same air time as former Republican congressman Joe Scarborough's daily 3 hour morning gig. The fact that the rest of their line-up isn't comprised of flat-earthers doesn't make them liberal. The right wing is winning, they know they are, and the dummies that listen to their propaganda cheer as Faux has three times more viewers and gleefully hope for the demise of MSNBC's liberal shows, instead of worrying about a one-party system. They don't want another point of view heard, because after listening to propaganda for years, they might start to realize they are pawns to the rich and powerful. 30 years and nothing has trickled down, yet still they believe.

Rachel Maddow covered this disturbing Michigan story with it's true implications last Wednesday. It is becoming obvious that she's our only media personality covering the sneaky tactics the right wing has been using. Ever since their victories last November, the new Republican governors are acting like Kings and the new Republican congress doesn't believe the minority has rights, unlike the wimps in the Democratic Party for Obama's first two years. Actually, I'm not being fair to the House Dems, they did their job, it was the Senate Dems that capitulated at every turn on every topic...even with a strong majority.

Not surprisingly, there's a Fox in the Nielson house
Last week saw the release of the quarterly ratings performance data for television programming. Most of the reporting yammers on and on about the dominant position Fox News retains in the cable news sector. The claim is that Fox News smothered the competition and experienced rapid growth while other news programmers stagnated or declined. The reason I decided to write about this topic is that it's an ongoing battle on Huffington Post and other lefty blog sites that I frequent. Every time the new numbers are released, the right wing trolls decide to taunt all of us MSNBC viewers and I really get sick of it. They never argue about content, it's always about ratings. Here's part of my response to that. If Chris Matthews, Ed Schultz, Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow are so insignificant, why are conservatives so unnerved by their reporting? Matthews plays to whoever's in the room, so I don't think a whole lot of him...and he voted for Bush, which says plenty. Schultz is making a name for himself as being Joe Everyman, which you'd think would be a good thing except that he's an admitted Democrat. Olbermann gets hammered by righties for exposing right wing lies, especially those coming from Fox, Limbaugh and other hate talkers. I'm glad someone's doing it because CNN, HLN, ABC, CBS and PBS sure aren't willing to take them on to set the record straight. Maddow not only exposes the lies, she digs deeper and presents the hypocrisy. Guess what wingnutz? When politicians are naming you and attempting to discredit you with even more lies, they know you're not insignificant! My other point about ratings? Last week, over 20 million people watched both American Idol and Dancing With the Stars. I'm guessing the Discovery Channel and The History Channel didn't do quite that well.
Before I send you off to the possible Fox fraud situation, let's look at some other facts. Check out the poll conducted by DailyKos/Research2000. Republicans and southerners almost completely shut out any cable news source other than Fox News. They are the most sharply segmented groups in the survey when asked on viewing of CNN and MSNBC. The rest of the nation doesn't much care for the right-wing hack network. 78% of the northeast never watches Fox, 70% of the midwest never watches Fox, 68% of the west never does and even 51% of the south doesn't! Also notable is the terrible performance of Fox amongst young voters (18-29) and minorities, at least 80% of whom report that they never watch Fox News. If Nielsen data were to confirm this, advertisers might alter the way they allocate their budgets. Also, cable operators might adjust their channel offerings, which could help to resolve the distribution problem that MSNBC has been hampered by. And why won't Nielson do that?
This might be why. Do you ever wonder how Fox News can be so consistently lead the ratings despite their obvious position and programming focus on a small segment of the viewers? The last time I saw a poll, only 23% of registered voters admitted to be Republicans. Evidently, Nielsen entered the high-tech era of TV market research in the early 2000's with People Meter methodology. It was during this time, that Fox News began its climb to ratings dominance. It has recently been discovered that the Wegener Corporation, the manufacturer of the set-top devices that Nielsen uses, has a long association with Rupert Murdoch and the News Corporation, the parent of Fox News. It would not be difficult to encode an electronic device so that it would purposefully miscalculate survey data. Diebold anyone? So you have to ask; with a continuous 24/7 right wing propaganda effort, if Fox were as persuasive as they claim, why haven't they been able to move the country to their far right positions? Yes, they've got the teabaggers doing some of their dirty work now, but they're just Foxbots. This is not the large anti-government, anti-Obama pushback that Fox is selling to their viewers. According to the following article, Murdoch has paid millions for his cover-up of various media manipulations. Not only are there allegations about Nielson, he has also undermined competitor Dish Network. For those out there who dispise this man, and are considering satellite tv, you should know that he owns DirectTV as well. The connection to Murdoch's covert operations and his history of unlawful corporate espionage should not continue to be ignored. If Nielsen doesn't want it's credibility completely dismissed, it should investigate their equipment providers and perform intensive examinations of the devices they place in viewers' homes. To be fair, the suspicions have not been confirmed, but it really makes you wonder. Don't forget, this is the man who was continuously rebuffed in 1996 from putting his new network on NY's cable systems. It wasn't until he got Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani, Gov. George E. Anthony Weiner Calls Out Fox News for Lying About HCR
This guys legend is growing! Last week he took on the GOP on the House floor, today Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.) took the hosts of "Fox & Friends" to task criticizing the ongoing Fox campaign to "lie" and spread "disinformation" about health care reform. After co-host Steve Doocy asked why Democrats whose districts oppose health reform should vote for it, Weiner turned the question back on the ill-prepared hosts. This is the kind of thing Democrats should've been doing all along. Weiner, along with Rep. Maddow Tells Beck to Back Off
While I don't want to see MSNBC's Rachel Maddow get into a back and forth with Fox News moronic hate and fear monger Glenn Beck, she has every right to defend herself against the lies he tells his millions of simple mindle followers about her. Last night, she did just that. Unfortunately for Rachel, the people that like her already know the truth. She didn't need to convince us. The people who like Beck couldn't care less about truth or facts, they want to hear their own hatred justified. He'll probably just edit some more video today to play for them. Her message is lost on them.
While I've always believed Beck followers had to be largely unstable to actually take this guy seriously, when Rachel said,

I get hate mail from all sorts of conservatives all the time. I always have. But it is the hate mail from self proclaimed fans of Mr. Beck that is most likely to contain death threats and threats of violence against me expressed as extensions of the frenzied devotion his fans feel for him. They think he is the second coming...it genuinely bothered me. I've read about threats against her in other interviews she's done, but hearing it in her own voice troubled me. She is a television news personality. She doesn't make policy, she isn't voting in Washington, she's a tv talker. I realize I'm not 100% objective on this subject as I agree with Ms. Maddow on virtually everything, but I fail to understand why anyone would threaten her for doing the same job as Beck except with a very different point of view. She uses calmness, intelligence and a sense of humor, all of which are missing from this guy. What is that really saying about the state of our country when having a different point of view empowers certain people into thinking they have a green light to issue threats?

Caribou Barbie Has Tea in Nashville, Has Worshipers Drinking Kool-Aid
Last night Sarah Palin spoke at the anti-Obama National Tea Party Convention in Nashville. You know, the grassroots effort that only cost $549 to attend. I only saw bits and pieces so I'm not in a position to critique the whole 40 minutes. However, when she said, "How's that hopey-changey thing workin' out for ya?" my first thought was "how on earth can anyone think this idiot is competent to run our country?" She went on to say "America is ready for another revolution." Honestly, she makes George W. Bush look like a Rhodes Scholar for crying out loud. Are she and her followers really that far removed from reality? They can't seriously think this whole country has fallen apart in the past twelve months. How does it not occur to them that a true grassroots movement wouldn't pay someone $100,000 for 40 minutes? Anyhow, I thought I'd share a picture of Sarah's cheat sheet. Not only was she reading papers from the podium while mocking Obama for using a teleprompter, she wrote notes on her palm! Note to the Wasilla Witch, Obama wasn't using one a week and a half ago when he verbally spanked your precious Republicans in Baltimore.
Speaking on Fox News this morning with Chris Wallace, she said Rahm Emanuel's comments calling liberal groups "f--king retards" was "indecent and insensitive" and cause for his dismissal. However, she went to great hypocritical lengths to insist that when hate talk show host Rush Limbaugh used the same exact term to describe the same exact group, it was simply in the role of political humorist. "They are kooks, so I agree with Rush Limbaugh," she said, when read a quote of Limbaugh calling liberal groups "retards." "Rush Limbaugh was using satire ... . I didn't hear Rush Limbaugh calling a group of people whom he did not agree with 'f--king retards,' and we did know that Rahm Emanuel, as has been reported, did say that. There is a big difference there." Um, no Sarah, there's not. Is the word offensive or isn't it? I haven't liked Emanual from Day 1, but obviously not for the same reasons. To get technical, Limbaugh echoed Emanual's remarks in agreement with his assessment so Sarah lied when she said she didn't hear him call a group of people whom he did not agree with f--king retards. He most certainly did. Just because her political future is hitched to Limbaugh's fat ass doesn't make her any less than a hyprocrite and liar. God, I can't even explain how much a loathe this bitch.
One thing that is shocking to me is that no matter how many ethics violations that keep turning up about her, how many inconsistencies in her actual record and her rhetoric, her base will not acknowledge any wrongdoing anymore than she will. Just Friday, news broke that hubby was actually heavily involved in running the state of Alaska. msnbc.com obtained over 3000 pages of emails that Todd Palin exchanged with state officials. He was involved in a judicial appointment, monitored contract negotiations with public employee unions, received background checks on a corporate CEO, added his approval or disapproval to state board appointments and passed financial information marked "confidential" from his oil company employer to a state attorney. The Palin's and corruption go hand in hand. Another thing that troubles me as whenever they're close to getting caught for something, they start screaming "liberal media bias" and the friggin' chicken sh*t media backs down for the most part. Journalism and real reporters in this country with a few exceptions are a bunch scardy cats. Instead of breaking career-making stories, they're worried that their boss is going to fire them. Therefore, the right thing rarely gets done. The truth never gets told.

"Wow. This was the Palin we saw at the 2008 Republican convention, the snarling pitbull in shimmery lipstick. I know journalists aren't supposed to use words like mean and dumb, but I can't help it. Palin is one of the meanest people on the public stage today. She wallows in it. She loves it! Also? Possibly one of the dumbest. But mean works, and so does dumb. You Can't Fix Stupid
ABC News is reporting Sarah Palin has been using her Political Action Committee to buy up thousands of copies of her book, "Going Rogue," in order to mail copies of the memoir to her donors, according to newly filed campaign records. Let's see...her donors donate their money, she uses their money to purchase a book to 'give' them as a reward for donating! Brilliant! The PAC bought the books from HarperCollins, Palin's publisher so we can be sure she got a lot of bang for her $63,000. It's not like anyone is aware that bulk buying is a secret, it's just that her fans have placed this crazy woman on such a pedestal, they actually believe all of her sales were from people who were interested in her, were actually going to read it and truly want her to become President. It would take the shine off the "Best Seller" euphoria for normal people, but these are not normal people. I'm willing to bet her fan base is already making excuses even though it's their money. Think about it. When her book first came out, I seem to remember her offering a free book with a $100 donation to SarahPAC. So if she spent somewhere between $4 and $9...do the math! Don't forget about all those $4.95 bulk copies that NewsMax gave away either. In addition, her committee paid her publisher $20,000 for the cost of sending her personal photographer and another aide along on her book tour. Those expenses are listed by the PAC as travel repayment to Harper Collins. SarahPAC also paid $13,000 for that Going Rogue bus wrap for her book tour and more than $27,000 for private jets during the "bus" book tour. Palin also pays 6 people for fundraising or communications consulting, 2 administrative workers -- one in Arlington, VA, where the PAC is based, and one in her home town of Wasilla, AK. I wonder how much her hairdresser made...*wink*.

When Fox Squawker Meets Days of Thunder
Sarah Palin didn't waste anytime getting started with her latest job. She sat down with Bill O'Reilly for her first interview as a paid Fox contributor on The O'Reilly Factor Tuesday. Bill-O's softball sit-down was a waste of time for anyone not enamored with this fool, but her fans think she really laid out policy! Palin also said she was looking forward "to providing the fair and the balanced reporting and analysis that voters in this country deserve." Riiight, that’s why she’s on Faux Newz. Then there was a full hour with Glenn Beck. Beck started the show by reading to Palin from his personal diary in which he called her "one of the only people that can possibly lead us out of where we are." As Jon Stewart explained, she had a “moose in the headlights look.” On his radio show the next day, Beck explained their initial meeting as they had not actually met before. He said he walked in on Palin furiously googling on her Blackberry. When Beck enquired what she was doing, she claimed she was preparing (nothing like waiting until the last minute). She noticed (that’s amazing in itself) how he chose to interview her with the Statue of Liberty in the background and thought he was going to quiz her on the 25 windows and seven points on the crown! He assured her that wasn’t the case. Beck did manage to ask Palin a tough question, by Palin standards at least. He asked her to name her favorite founding father; Palin took a page from her infamous campaign interview with CBS' Katie Couric and told Beck, "all of them" without any hint of the irony. Seems to me that he is now part of that Couric/Gibson gotcha media. It did seem to appear that even Beck now realizes what the majority of the country figured out a long time ago about her. She is a moron. Speaking of Palin's founding fathers answer, MSNBC's Chris Matthews later asked, "how come she can't answer the most simple questions?" If you thought Palin's verbal befuddlement couldn't get any more bizarre, you'd be wrong. Appearing on Hannity on Thursday, the Facebook politician claimed that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is, "driving a bus that is headed towards a train wreck." WTF! People, remember how close she was to the red button!
The week wasn't over for Saracuda though!. As a part-time Nascar watcher, former big fan who still loves Daytona, I have to comment on this one. Saturday it was reported that Sarah Palin will be a VIP guest at next month’s Daytona 500. Daytona International Speedway president Robin Braig said that they will “showcase her just as much as we would our mayor, our governor or our senators.” Um, don’t they think that’s a bit much? Unless the mayor, governor or any of their senators are habitual quitters, that seems a bit over the top. For anyone unfamiliar with how the Daytona 500 is treated, I’ll make it simple. The Daytona 500 is Nascar’s Super Bowl even though it’s the first race of the new season. It is unquestionably the most prestigious race on the schedule. And as someone who actually went to the Coke Zero 400 last July, I can verify that it’s the most exciting track (that I’ve been to) to view a race. The pre-race activities for “The 500” are virtually the halftime show at the Super Bowl. In the very recent past and off the top of my head, Jon Bon Jovi and Kelly Clarkson have provided entertainment. I’ll be skipping the pre-race festivities this year even though I’m sure headliner Tim McGraw will be a big lure for many. The former Alaska governor will be introduced at the pre-race drivers meeting along with other celebrities. Did I mention this telecast will be broadcast on Fox? I’m pretty sure she’ll get more than a little bit of screen time. That said, I have to say I’m kind of looking forward to her going in the booth. There’s not a doubt in my mind that right wing commentator Darrell Waltrip will get her up there after the start of the race, drool a little and ask, “Who is your favorite driver?” Is there any doubt she will say, “All of them!?"

Limbaugh's Take on Hate-e
While this man knows no limit to the depth he’ll dive, he may have reached a level this week that even Jacques Cousteau would be jealous of. After the 7.0 Earthquake annihilated Haiti on Tuesday, Rush Limbaugh decided to make political rhetoric out of thousands of deaths to his simple minded hate-filled listeners. On Wednesday Rush declared;
On Thursday Rush told his empty headed sheep not to donate to any Haitian relief charities. You’ll love this reasoning:

Given their general lack of empathy, let’s be grateful Fox News isn’t even covering the event. With a tragedy so horrific just 700 miles off Florida’s coast, Fox has decided to just continue doing what they do best; their relentless journey of doing their part to destroy President Obama. They featured national security experts Liz Cheney and Sarah Palin this week. The only thing I have witnessed on Fox so far was earlier today when they were bemoaning the fact that illegal Haitians currently in the U.S. have been granted an eighteen month stay. I'm sure as this "rescue and recovery" moves forward, Fox will find stories more in line with what Limbaugh would find acceptable. The human crisis will not be witnessed by their minions. Given the mentality of an average Fox viewer, I'm betting their compassionate Christian disciples find Haitians to be sub-human anyways.
And for all the knocks MSNBC has gotten through the years for their poor weekend news coverage (which has been deserved), they have shined throughout this tragedy. Not only did Rachel Maddow, Chris Matthews and Ed Schultz do two live shows per night during the week dedicated to this event, MSNBC has kept teams on it all day today as well. They're outshining CNN in my opinion. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's statement of U.S. commitment was carried live. I've watched live video of some of the planes landing at Edwards Air Force Base in Homestead, Florida with passengers. I've watched interviews with evacuees. Those have been some extremely grateful people! Only those who are U.S. residents, have green cards or some type of legal claim here, have been transported here so far. Fox will probably wait until some severely injured "aliens" are transported to a Miami hospital before they decide to cover the story.

They'll use this to burnish their, shall we say, "credibility" with the black community -- in the both light-skinned and dark-skinned black community in this country. It's made-to-order for them. That's why he couldn't wait to get out there, could not wait to get out there." "Now, I want you to remember, it took him three days to respond to the Christmas Day Fruit of Kaboom Bomber, three days. And when he came out after those three days, he was clearly irritated that he had to do it. He didn't want to do it. He comes out here in less than 24 hours to speak about Haiti."Where do you even begin? Is he suggesting that Obama has some kind of connection upstairs to coincide this tragedy with his falling approval numbers? And that humanitarian, compassion stuff is for sissy’s, not for real Americans. Burnishing his credibility with the black community? That one actually made me start laughing. I’m pretty sure he’s already got them sewed up. No offense to anyone meant, but really? I’m certain the black community aren’t closet McCain fans. The Christmas Day bomber? Um, thousands didn’t die. Luckily the would-be bomber was incompetent. Obama waited until he had his facts straight before speaking publicly about it. Funny how they always forget Bush waited six days after the Shoe Bomber, a virtually identical attack. Ah, but that was just the day after the quake…

“We’ve already donated to Haiti! It’s called the US income tax! There are people who do charitable work every day in Haiti. It’s not as though… it’s our fault. There are people that have been trying to save Haiti, just as we’re trying to save Africa. You just can’t keep throwing money at it, because the dictatorships there just take it all. Besides, even if the people did get the money, that would just stop them from bothering to support themselves. It’s a simple matter of self-reliance.”There’s nothing I can say about such a mean, ignorant statement. The last two sentences are all you really need to read. Even Joe Scarborough was shocked and horrified by Limbaugh’s lack of compassion. This man is one of the most vicious hateful people ever to be given a platform. The fact that his followers actually think he is a “real American hero” is nauseating. Those are the same people who call Keith Olbermann evil and hateful because he was the first MSM personality to start reporting on Bush’s Evil Empire. These are the same people who just weeks ago attacked non-Rush fan bloggers that hoped for a poor outcome with Limpballs health scare. While I would never go there (that Karma thing), I found it amazing that the same people dancing on Ted Kennedy’s grave while cheering were appalled and downright angry at some of the non-Rush fans’ reactions. All I will say is, I wouldn’t miss him. It would actually be more satisfying if he got fired, but he brings in too much money with all these ignorant idiots tuning in.

After all, isn't the job of the U.S. military, first and foremost, to protect the national security and interests of the United States? No, it's not. The U.S. military is now Meals on Wheels. It always is with Democrat presidents.”Those bastard Democrats. Always trying to help out the less fortunate. Especially in a time of dire need. Rush says “f**k ‘em.” He honestly thinks our soldiers should just be killing people, not helping them! Again, he’s speaking to people who can’t even spell Afghanistan or Haiti. Hell, some of them probably can’t spell America. Notice how he never mentions that it’s always the Republicans that start the wars and tension. Notice how he doesn’t mention the economic disasters are always started by Republicans and the next poor Democratic President ends up with a big hot turd in every corner to try and clean up. And when the Democrat can’t get it cleaned up within one year after an eight year (or twelve 1980-1992) reign, they’re labeled a failure. What's worse is many dumb voters buy it!
